Inverness City Centre and Local Area

King Street Apartment is within easy reach of a range of amenities: restaurants, bars, cafés and shops in the city centre, and a wealth of activities, attractions and entertainment.

To the north of the city just 15 minutes drive over the North Kessock Bridge, is the perfect wildlife lovers destination. We are privileged to play home to our resident school of Moray Firth Dolphins, which can frequently be seen from Chanonry Point, or regular boat trips out on the Moray Firth. The Black Isle also attracts frequently seen Red Kites.

Loch Ness is just seven miles away with stunning views, the Loch Ness Exhibition, Urquhart Castle and of course some Nessie spotting. There’s also plenty of opportunity for water sports, cruises and horse riding and cycling around the area.

Being centrally based in Inverness gives access to many local Castles, in every direction – Dunrobin Castle to the North, Cawdor Castle to the East, Urquhart Castle to the South and Eilean Donan Castle to the West. We’re also on the fringe of the Whisky Trail.

King Street Apartment is just ten minutes walk from Eden Court Theatre and Cinemas, the Highlands' premier arts centre. The striking riverside building houses two theatres, two cinema screens, a bar, restaurant and café as well as dance and drama studios. The venue hosts a wide array of plays, exhibitions, opera, ballet and music concerts throughout the year.

Whatever your pleasure, Inverness is sure to offer something for every taste.
